Privacy policy

This document explains what personal data FACILITY DISTRIB S.R.L., as data controller, collects when you use sfsgroup.ro, why we use it and what rights you have. The policy complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Who we are

sfsgroup.ro presents SFS Group, the group that includes Facility Distrib, Pentru Industrie, Igiena Industrială, Smart Clean and Meat Experts.

2. What data we collect

Data you give us. When you fill in the contact form, you send us:

  • your name (required);
  • your email address and/or phone number (at least one);
  • your company name, if you fill it in;
  • the group company you are interested in, if you choose one, and your message.

When you call or email us, we receive the data you send that way.

Technical data. Like any web server, the server hosting the site records technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and operation. To protect against automated messages (spam), the form may use Cloudflare Turnstile, and the IP address of people who send the form is kept briefly, only in cryptographic (hashed) form, to limit the number of submissions.

3. Why we use the data

  • To reply to you: to contact you and send you a quote or the information you asked for.
  • To pass your request to the right group company: requests arrive at contact@sfsgroup.ro and are forwarded to the SFS Group company that handles the subject (for example Facility Distrib for equipment, Smart Clean for cleaning). That company replies to you directly.
  • For website security: protection against spam and abuse.
  • steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (a request for a quote or information);
  • our legitimate interest in replying to messages and protecting the site.

5. Cookies

The site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Details in the Cookie policy.

6. Who has access to the data

We do not sell or rent your data. Only the following have access to it:

  • the people in SFS Group who handle requests, and the group company your request is forwarded to;
  • the hosting and email provider, which stores data on servers in Romania or the EU and is contractually bound to confidentiality;
  • Cloudflare, only for the form’s anti-spam check;
  • public authorities, only where the law requires it.

7. How long we keep the data

We keep requests received through the form for at most 12 months, unless you become a client of one of the group companies. If you do, the data is kept as long as the contract and the law require.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to object and to data portability. To exercise any of them, write to contact@sfsgroup.ro. We reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
